Established a novel 3D printing start-up that developed and then commercialised a novel, large-scale, thermoplastic extrusion technology. Secured over angel investment and additional financing. Managed financial aspects of the company, including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting to the board of directors. Implemented and ran operational systems: CRM, document management, OKR management and facility.Successfully won and managed technically challenging projects across a variety of sectors. Played a pivotal role in securing £600k+ Innovate UK grant funding. Ran business development campaigns, managed internal sales and external prospecting service providers. Led the PR and marketing strategy. Managed HR functions: recruiting and managing several colleagues, including onboarding a CEO.Notable achievements by my company, Scaled, include: producing what was thought at the time to be Europe\'s largest FDM 3D printer, back in early 2017. We then produced one of the largest 3D printed structures in the UK - a 5m span prototype railway signalling arch that was installed at Bristol Parkway. Scaled also produced Europe first 3D printed vehicle, the Chameleon.
