DAS (Distributed Acoustic Sensing) Systems.Optromix DAS system can detect slightest vibrations on the optical cable, such as personpassing over the cable, manual and mechanical digging, a leakage of any liquid with spatial resolution down to 1 m. Max sensitivity length - up to 50 km, max number of channels - 2.Applications- Monitoring of oil and gas pipelines- Security of perimeters and borders- Monitoring of communication lines.2. Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS) systems. DTS system allows facility operators to detect temperature increases at the controlled assets and send “alarm” signals to the monitoring equipment to prevent overheating before it can happen.Applications- Temperature monitoring of transmission and distribution (T&D) power lines- Fire detection in mines, coal conveyors, tunnels, logistic centers, storehouses- Leakages monitoring in oil & gas- Temperature monitoring of oil & gas wells - R&D.In case of power cables application, our DTS system helps an electrical utility to optimize the loads at the transmission and distribution networks and to make better decisions on when and where investments in infrastructure are needed.
