Leading our defence team, I am a registered Architect with extensive experience working with public sector organisations including Defence Infrastructure Organisation in the delivery of numerous complex projects across the UK Government Estate ranging in value from £1m to £300m+.I have been involved in developing standardised architectural methodologies to support multiple major estate rationalisation programmes including; the Base Optimisation Programme; Army Basing Programme and Footprint Strategy. I am responsible for strategic assessment and delivery of multiple feasibility, viability, option and assessment studies through to the delivery and full design of facilities necessary to allow the military to effectively Live, Work and Train. This includes the development of existing and emerging requirements through effective stakeholder engagement and leading multi-disciplinary design teams. I have extensive experience in the architectural design and master planning for a wide range of MoD facilities including high security and protected environs for specialist operational requirements, the relocation of major military units, facilities on or adjacent to active airfields, explosive storage and processing facilities and plotting of associated safeguard zones, armouries, gatehouses plus much more.
