Specialise in offshore site investigation for the energy sector. Supporting the day-to-day operations of a compensated drill rig, ensuring safe and efficient drilling activities. Responsibilities include, use of remote and locally control equipment to winch tools and move drill pipe, mixing drilling mud to the correct viscosity for borehole stability and reliable drilling. Assisting the driller, as well as carrying out general maintenance. I work closely with the onboard lab and CPT department to ensure quality results and clear communications. I am a confident piggyback coring driller, using GeoBor drill pipes and core barrels to drill and retrieve ground samples. Competent in banking cranes during drilling ops and mobilisation and demobilisations on and off vessels. Actively contribute to smooth drilling operations while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures
