With over 50 years of insurance industry experience and a lifetime of proven success as an innovator, beginning in the1980’s, as a Director of Swire Fraser Limited; and thereafter in David formed Thornside Limited as a Pet Insurance specialist, which became minority owned by BDML in 2001 and subsequently wholly owned by Capita plc in 2005 as part of the acquisition of Thornside Limited. Thornside became within a short period the leading Pet Insurance third party administrator and Broker in the UK acting for more than 40 of the major brands ( including The Kennel Club, Pet Partners, Pets at Home, esure, Argos, PDSA, Littlewoods,AA, Sainsbury\'s, ASDA,RSPCA) and ranked # 3 behind PetPlan & RSA.He took the company from it\'s inception to sale to Capita PLC and where he continued as Managing Director until 2012; growing the business to a Gross Premium Income of £130 million.Having stepped down from Thornside at the beginning of 2012, David have taken up various Consultancy Roles within the Pet Insurance Industry, providing in-depth specialist knowledge in this sector, including Marketing, Product Design and providing Underwriting capacity,
