ABOUT DAVID SCHIRMER BC

David has an extensive background in B2B sales and business development, with over 17 years of international commercial experience covering real estates, design, hospitality and management consulting. In 2025, David joins Morelli Design Transport as Vice President, Sales & Marketing to lead, expand and deepen its footprint presents in the Americas and across the globe. Previously David worked for Custom Airstream as Vice President of Sales & Marketing, spearheading hospitality division and general commercialization. Previously, David worked for Lightemotion, a design company with service points in Montreal, Toronto and Paris, in charge of Business Development and Marketing. Prior moving to Canada, David worked for a major United Arab Emirates holding company and real estate developer, Meraas, responsible for the company sponsorship strategy and commercialization across its retail and experience destinations. He also headed a business development team for a boutique management consultancy firm based in Dubai-United Arab Emirates, Gulf Business Consulting, helping foreign companies accessing to the Gulf region. David also worked for some of the finest hospitality & hotel groups in a variety of senior sales and marketing roles including Associate Director at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Senior Sales Manager at Jumeirah Group or Business Development Manager at Madinat Jumeirah.Experienced international professional, excellent interpersonal and client service skills with the ability to develop an extensive network into long-term strategic partnerships and business.
