With experience stretching across journalism, public policy, international relations, and communications, I possess unique experience and insight into how news and world events shape politics, society, and the global economy and have specialized expertise across a range of industries including finance, tech, real estate, energy, automotive, and beyond. A former ex-pat who’s lived in Europe and Asia, I\'m a world citizen with a global outlook and perspective. As a former business journalist, I had an inside view covering the financial crisis (and its aftermath) in New York and around the US, meeting with prime actors and common people alike. My reports were viewed by millions on NHK in Japan. Recent clients have included a top-five five, bank, top-ten real estate investment firm, top-performing tech/eCommerce fund, and a former SIFMA chair. I’ve also recently advised London-based sustainable market Mercato Metropolitano on PR strategy and expansion plans as part of a volunteer project for the New York chapter of climate-focused NGO, Project Drawdown. I have a strong interest in and passion for economic justice, international/intercultural relations, food, and sustainability. C-Level Experience: Recruited and interviewed top C-level executives from across real estate, finance, automotive, and tech communities. Thought Leadership & Event Production: Produced and managed series of investor conferences in New York and Miami. Finance, Tech, & Real Estate Focus: Over 10 years experience covering some of the biggest stories and trends across finance real estate and tech from both sides of the journalism and PR divide. International Perspective and Outlook: A dual US-Italian/EU citizen, I’ve lived, worked, and studied on three continents including a multi-year international exchange in Japan and in-depth coursework while studying in Ireland on the inner workings of the European Union. Closely follow and able to advise on EU/Asia political and social developments. Food & Sustainability: As a reporter covered issues around third-wave coffee wars and sustainable wine production in the US. Oversaw media relations for one of the first publicly traded restaurant funds, and advised London-based sustainable food hall/market, Mercato Metropolitano. Social Justice & Economic Reform: As a reporter covering the financial crisis and its aftermath, I had an inside view and met with many of its main actors. I have a deep interest in political economy and the fundamental changes needed to restore economic justice and equality.
