ABOUT DAVID SAUVE
David is Senior Vice President / Transportation Business Leader for North America at Stantec Consulting. His role is to lead the strategic growth and oversee the operations (P&L responsibility) of this 2,700 person business, which operates across the United States and Canada. Previously, David was the Infrastructure Innovation Leader, for which his role was to drive a culture of creativity/innovation that puts technology/digital at the forefront of what we do. He also led our Infrastructure Major Projects / Alternative Project Delivery portfolio for Canada. Prior to that, David was Stantec\'s Regional Leader for the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Ottawa, where he provided leadership for six offices (~850 people). In that role, he was responsible for leading strategic initiatives that drive top line growth across all business lines in the Region, as well as ensuring high levels of client service and assembling multi-disciplinary design teams to successfully deliver projects. David has 15+ years of P&L operational experience across a range of design businesses and 20+ years of experience in the management/design of master planning/infrastructure projects. David has a long history of community leadership. He was Chair of Habitat for Humanity Canada from 2020-22. He is also a Board Member at ACE (Architecture, Construction, Engineering) Mentor Program of Canada. Previously, he was Chair of Habitat for Humanity GTA and Habitat for Humanity York Region. David is a professional civil engineer and urban planner with a MBA in Real Property Development.
