ABOUT DAVID SANCHEZ
Beginning in 1988 as a US Marine I witnessed first hand the importance and power of Thin Film Technology in Night Vision, Target Lasing and Guidance. As a young OCLI Engineer I was introduced to networking as the best way to expand my knowledge and contacts in the Industry. I have served the 20 years since, first, as a Process Engineer, and later as a Materials & Applications Scientist for CERAC, Williams (now Materion Corporation) and a Board Member of the Society of Vacuum Coaters. Being fluent in Materials and Processes, I have sought to use my multidisciplinary experience in Optical Coatings, Semiconductor Devices, Energy Sciences and Specialty Materials to serve the Optics and Microelectronics Thin Films Industries.
