About David S. Mandel
An award-winning, multidisciplinary visual communicator, I have more than 20 years of experience in 2D & 3D design, content and concept development, and art direction. My work focuses on the intersection of story and design and is based in a collaborative process that 1) uses creativity to turn content into ideas, 2) understands concepts as ideas with a plot, 3) utilizes design as a visual strategy.At the Center for Civil and Human Rights, I oversaw the planning, conceptualization, and design of the interactive exhibition experiences. This included art direction, content development, and project management. Since The Center\'s opening in June of 2014, I art direct and design collateral materials, and develop new content and designs for the exhibition galleries.
