I’ve spent the last 14 years dedicated to supporting young people in residential care, working across various children’s homes in the Midlands. Throughout this journey, I’ve developed deep expertise in supporting individuals with learning disabilities (LD), emotional and behavioral difficulties (EBD), and assessment needs—always embracing therapeutic approaches to provide the best possible care.Over the past five years, I’ve managed five-bed learning disability homes, six-bed EBD homes within local authorities, and dual-managed services. I’ve also stepped into operational leadership, playing a key role in opening a brand-new children’s home and company. These experiences have allowed me to develop high-performing teams, drive positive change, and earn recognition from OFSTED.One of my greatest strengths—and sources of fulfillment—is identifying and nurturing the potential in others. Supporting individuals and teams to grow, develop, and reach their full potential is something I take immense pride in.I feel incredibly grateful to be part of such a meaningful and impactful community.
