ABOUT DAVID S.
Do you ever get frustrated when trying to make a decision on whether you can afford a new employee or not or maybe thinking if you need another colleague to help with the current/future workload?Do you sometimes wonder what your boss would think if you made the wrong idea from a financial point of view when it came to hiring a new colleague? There is an option that can stop you making these decisions:Employ someone who is willing to learn a specific task or tasks that make running the department successfully as part of a work experience/volunteer scheme because the company gives something back to the community so it looks good on them, the rewards of that is great and you don’t have to pay them a salary. Plus the amount of experience the volunteer will learn will be invaluable as you can’t put a price of it. Now you may wonder where does one find a volunteer like that. Well I’m that guy as I will travel to you, carry out various tasks that will suit your business needs. My background includes:• Customer Service - Providing a service through knowledge, remembering PLU codes as it saves everyone time and I’ve even had staff members ask me for these codes as I’m skilled enough to remember them. Sometimes this is needed because the code has fallen off the product and this applies for some barcodes too. • Manual Handling - Carrying boxes and crates containing various food items or substances. • Some light admin work, which I would love to develop further. I am actively looking for a role that will provide stability and challenges, preferably in the area of banking or anything money related as I’m very good at numeracy and love solving problems when it comes to numbers. Here’s a little bit about me:I like all sorts of music from dance bands to various rock music. My taste in films and shows are exactly the same. Going to the gym is a must for me, but there is room for improvement. A personal goal of mine would be to go on many holidays and travel. It doesn’t matter if it’s a weekend away somewhere or two weeks abroad. It’s all good to me.
