   For over 30 years, I have provided in-depth legal and business strategies and served as an advocate in and out of the courtroom, all with one singular purpose: To help clients achieve their business goals in a cost-effective manner.I have tried bench and jury trials in state and federal courts, conducted hearings before administrative agencies and represented clients in arbitrations and mediations before domestic and international alternative dispute resolution tribunals. I have substantial experience successfully prosecuting and defending emergency proceedings for injunctive relief.I represent clients in a number of industries, including real estate, telecommunications, marketing, automotive, insurance, aviation and shipping. I help clients manage risk, avoid litigation and resolve disputes at early stages through creative strategies and diplomatic advocacy.I often represent clients in high-stakes litigation involving many moving parts. In this role, I work with in-house lawyers, executives and business owners. At Vedder Price, we use the most up-to-date E-Discovery tools to contain the costs of discovery in major litigation matters, enabling us to pursue claims and defenses through a controlled and efficient process. I have litigated numerous cases involving property rights, including representing clients that manage portfolios of instruments — such as leases and easements for cell towers and billboards — where the assignees of the original contracting parties are in a dispute over their acquired contractual rights and liabilities. I have handled numerous matters that have arisen out of M&A transactions, investments and financing transactions involving allegations that the parties violated contractual duties and securities laws and engaged in anti-competitive activity. I have extensive experience in coverage litigation and the management of insurance relationships while defending clients to maximize insurer participation in costs of litigation.
