ABOUT DAVID ROWLINSON
David is a highly motivated Chartered Engineer working as a Director at Arcadis. This includes leading major bids, leading aspects of our account strategy and various team and line management responsibilities, building on his experience as a Project Manager and Chartered Civil Engineer.His current role is as Account Executive for the Arcadis HS2 account. This involves working closely with the client and all Arcadis project and bid teams to understand opportunities to support our client, and their supply chain, in delivering the transformational HS2 project. This followed a period of a year carrying out a mixed Engineering and Management role on the HS2 EKFB contract supporting various aspects of the Arcadis Engineering and Digital Engineering delivery.Previous roles include Project Management in the Aviation sector and Design Engineering in the Rail sector working on Bridge and Station projects. David has been a chartered Civil Engineer since 2013. David is focused on delivering excellent projects through team work, innovation and hard work. His personal goals are to lead major projects and have a broad range of expertise.David is very involved with promoting the construction industry through the Institution of Civil Engineers and by competing for awards. He was Chair of the ICE North West Region for the 2013-14 session. David was runner up in the 2014 ACE / NCE Young Consultant of the Year Competition.His interests include transport infrastructure, particularly bridges, stations/airports and major projects. His experience includes design, project management, bidding and commercial management. His focus is on delivering good value through innovation, coordination and communication.David has always focused on improving his skills. This included completing the Royal Academy of Engineering\'s Executive Engineering Programme and most recently the Arcadis Accelerated Leadership Programme. He is also developing his team leadership skills as a regional representative on the Arcadis People First initiative.Selected projects are listed below.
