Responsible for the analysis, reporting, forecasting and development of annual and multi-year plans for the financial health of CBS Sports division.• Coordinate and collaborate with news and entertainment divisions to project sports program load, ie the hours of sports versus news, entertainment, and pre-emptive programming for the coming season.• Provide sales with an accurate sports schedule in order to sell appropriate placements to interested clients.• Liaise between the Head of Sales and the Chief Financial Officer to address programming variances, communicate goals and ensure budgets are aligned with the variable net profit (VNP) analysis.• Create a $2 billion annual sports sales budget.• Develop and implement complex financial assumptions, such as the projected value of a multi-year NFL Sunday games contract and the first-time rights for Thursday night games.• Perform competitive tracking analysis of major broadcasters including NBC, Fox and ABC.• Track and report programming and sales financial variances and escalate as needed.• Compile weekly primetime performance reports, including breakdown by sales demographics.• Create templates to distribute shared information and revenues for complex sports programming such as the NCAA Tournament games which are distributed across CBS, TBS, TNT and TruTV schedules.• Provide guidance to investor relations executives on interpreting revenue numbers for earnings calls.• Review price list for sports ad placement in conjunction with the Senior Vice Presidents of Sales
