I have over thirty-eight years of US Navy and commercial marine engineering experience with Gibbs & Cox, Inc. My primary area of expertise is as a technical director which involves leading the integration of systems and major equipment; validation of requirements; meeting client expectations; and overseeing the convergence process to optimize the ship design. Including the development of ship and purchase specifications. I work with shipyards to resolve waterfront problems. Interface directly with team members, SUPSHIP, NAVSEA and the approval agencies (e.g, ABS, US Coast Guard, Lloyds, DVN) to ensure all products meet the client’s expectations and requirements within cost and budget. U.S. Navy and Foreign major ship program experience includes the FFG7 Class, CG47, DDG51 Class, Arsenal Ship, LHD8, LCS, MUSV, LUSV, FFG62 Class, Australian “RAN FFG” program, the Taiwanese \"PFG2\" program, FFG FMS transfers, Royal Saudi Navy MMSC program, and the Air Warfare Destroyer for the Royal Australian Navy.
