ABOUT DAVID ROBERTS
I have worked in Structural Design since I started my first job high school as a residential framer. I then went on to designing homes while attending college. After graduation I engaged in a profession as a steel detailer and had the opportunity to work on many unique projects, my favorite being the Historical Tabernacle Seismic Upgrade in Salt Lake City Utah. Shortly after the project came to a close I was offered a position working as a Civil/Structural Designer for an Industrial Engineering Company designing processing plants for Gold, Copper, Potash, Coal, Oil and Gas, Power, and other various industrial facilities. It is here that I gained my passion for 3D Modeling and I have been doing it ever since. My software strengths are Autocad, Cadworx, Acad Plant 3D, Smartplant, Navisworks and Autocad Civil 3D. I have also been trained in Revit, Tekla, Leica, Cyclone, and Cloudworks. I am a people person and I enjoy being social. I am not afraid of public speaking and I like to work as a team. Overall I enjoy the career path that I have chosen.
