The Museum\'s collections contain over 40 million specimens and artifacts and rank 5th in size among US natural history museums. I oversee an annual budget of $5.5 M and our faculty oversee over $62M in active federal grants and awards. The faculty chair over 100 graduate student committees, advise over 150 undergraduates, and mentor about 25 postdocs each year.
