About David Quillen
Dr. Quillen serves as the George and Barbara Blankenship Professor and Chair in the Department of Ophthalmology at Penn State College of Medicine, and Director of the Penn State Health Eye Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Dr. Quillen earned his medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency training at Penn State Hershey Medical Center and then went on to complete a medical retina fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami. Dr. Quillen returned to Penn State Hershey Medical Center as a faculty member in 1995. Dr. Quillen is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.Dr. Quillen recently authored “Simply Retina.
