As a Carrier Sales Supervisor at GEODIS, I lead a team of carrier representatives who are responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and securing carriers for our customers\' freight needs. I also provide pricing and market insight to our business analysts and account managers for spot bids and RFPs, and negotiate rates with carriers to ensure optimal margins and service levels. I have 12 years of experience in the transportation industry, primarily from a 3PL perspective, and I am passionate about delivering excellence and innovation in the logistics field. In my previous roles, I have overseen, trained, and supported carrier representatives across multiple locations and countries, and have developed and implemented new procedures and policies to improve profitability, efficiency, and service within the brokerage division. I have also worked closely with other departments, such as compliance, customer service, and marketing, to create and execute strategies that grew our carrier network, mitigated risks, and enhanced customer satisfaction. One of my proudest achievements was working with FEMA on several emergency responses to provide expedited water deliveries to hurricane affected areas, demonstrating my domain expertise and commitment to social responsibility.
