A successful and respected IT Director for an established and award-winning Engineering Consultancy with approximately 450 staff throughout 14 UK locations. A strategic thinker who is able to communicate complex ideas through the use of varied media appropriate for the situation; in a simple and efficient manner.An experienced team leader and mentor with a successful track record of implementing IT systems for major practice-wide projects, in complex environments and achieving demanding timelines. Previously: Responsible for the Introduction and development of a central Knowledge Management system consisting of three key parts (People, Project and Practice). This website is held on a webserver accessible throughout the practice. The Practice Initiative has gone from strength to strength before out growing its current platform. Responsible for implementing a 5 year plan for centralising all practice data to ensure it is easily accessible by all in one single location regardless of geographical location, for fast, efficient access and management. Responsible for developing SharePoint from concept stage through to a pilot study where we could limit and include all the complex business process associated with a multi discipline Architectural firm. Currently developing SharePoint to migrate our Knowledge Management systems in to a web based tool for access and alteration.
