About Brig Gen David Preisman
My experience ranges from the tactical to strategic levels of leadership. I also have extensive technical knowledge and experience in systems engineering, integration, and operational support. A key strength I possess is my ability to lead diverse teams to achieve results under stressful conditions. The skills that I bring to the table are people-oriented; decisive and adaptable. This allows me to motivate and empower others to perform at their best while also allowing them to work on new projects and meet challenges head-on.I have been the National Guard Advisor to USSTRATCOM since early 2021 and have attended the Nuclear Commander’s Course, Nuclear Leadership Course and observed multiple Nuclear Operational Readiness Inspections at Air National Guard bases across the nation. Additionally, I have served for more than 500 hours as a Battle Watch Commander on the STRATCOM Global Operations Center floor in 2022 alone and was the Response Cell Leader for Exercise GLOBAL LIGHTNING. Prior to arriving at STRATCOM, I was a qualified Weapons Officer in the RC-135 RIVET JOINT aircraft and commanded at the flight, squadron and group levels.
