Serving as a Project Consultant for Mitsui on the Blue Point Complex—a joint venture with CF Industries and JERA. Responsibilities include representing Mitsui’s interests by observing, advising, and supporting project execution in alignment with Mitsui’s objectives and the broader goals of the joint venture, all in support of the project’s overall success.The Blue Point Complex is a $4 billion low-carbon ammonia production facility under development in Ascension Parish, Louisiana. It will use autothermal reforming and carbon capture technologies to produce approximately 1.4 million metric tons of low-carbon ammonia annually. The project reached Final Investment Decision (FID) in April 2025, with construction expected to begin in 2026 and production expected in 2029.
