Experienced manager with a demonstrated history of working within the rail and civil engineering industry.Summary of Key Skills- 30years experience in Civil Engineering contracting- 20 years experience dedicated delivering Network Rail sponsored projects in Scotland with Tier 1 Contractors, involved from pre-contract through construction to the handover of the assets- Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE) for Civils Construction- Experienced in managing most forms of Network Rail Contracts- Experienced in Site based management of framework and competitively tendered contracts- Experienced in developing high performing teams to deliver complex and challenging projects- Expert in managing the delivery of a complex programmes of bridge modifications, including permanent and temporary design development from Form 1 through to Form 3, before overseeing successful completion of the site works.Involved with the demolition, modification & Re-construction of numerous existing rail structures, which included overbridges and underbridges over the last 12 years-Involved in the construction of new railway structures on new rail link and operational railway sites, including the design and construction, co-ordination of permanent way and OLE infrastructure installation, renewals and modifications-Proven track record in planning and programming of possession working including rules of the route, disruptive and emergency possessions- Committed team player with inclusive approach to problem solving and solution development.
