   Manage and direct all electrical estimating staff for Collins Electrical company wide.Coordinate resources and workload to ensure timely delivery of all proposals.Develop and maintain departmental budgets.Review departmental performance and participate in bi-yearly & yearly evaluations.Maintain & direct estimating software data to ensure current costs.Investigate and recommend best industry practices and standards.Conduct weekly staff meetings to review workload and needs.Travel to attend site visits, design reviews, contract negotiations, etc.Assist in proposal takeoff as needed.Review proposals with Executive Management prior to submittal.Develop bidding strategies\' per project to increase hit rates.Coordinate proposal and construction schedules with Executive Management.Work with proposal sponsor or administrator to compile all required bid submittal information.Periodically, assist the project teams in preparation of field change order estimates.Periodically, assist the project manager with subcontract/vendor negotiations.Prepare Design-Build project outlines/requirements for budgeting.Coordinate prefabrication efforts with the prefabrication department.Other duties as assigned.
