Cenex is a leading independent research and technology organisation accelerating the transition to net zero in transport and energy systems, working with public and private sector clients across the UK, Europe and international markets.As Head of Business Development at Cenex, I sit on the Senior Management Team and lead the organisation’s commercial strategy to support long-term growth and financial sustainability, reporting directly to our CEO.I am responsible for securing over £3million Net of consultancy and R&D programmes across the UK, Europe and international markets, and for shaping new propositions that accelerate the transition to zero-emission transport and integrated energy systems.Key areas of focus include:• Developing strategic partnerships with public, private and not-for-profit organisations, including in emerging and developing market countries, to support the transition to zero-emission transport• Strengthening and expanding Cenex’s innovation and R&D portfolio as the UK’s centre of excellence in low- and zero-emission transport and energy systems• Leading and developing the business development team and overseeing pipeline management and commercial performance• Working closely with technical teams across Cenex in the UK and the Netherlands to deliver integrated, high-impact programmes• Acting as an external ambassador

I am a results-oriented Mechanical Engineer (MEng) and accomplished Senior Business Development Manager at Cenex. With a strong blend of technical expertise and sales acumen, I specialise in creating comprehensive consultancy and R&D offerings to our customers. Within Cenex\'s portfolio of work my primary focus is on Bus and Coach, HGVs, Mobility Hubs, Connected and Autonomous Vehicles, All Things Wales, and Innovate and Horizon funded R&D Projects.Beyond my professional endeavours, I maintain an active lifestyle, participating in various sports such as water polo, swimming, and cycling.
