I am currently Co-Chair of the firm\'s Business Department. Prior to that I served as Chair of the Real Estate and Land Use Practice Group for nine years. My practice focuses on helping families and companies manage their commercial real estate. This encompasses advice on day-to-day management and operations, as well as assistance with important transactions such as buying, selling, leasing and financing. I also have a broad practice helping clients navigate Oregon\'s complex land use laws to realize their development dreams. I have helped bring an eclectic mix of projects to fruition, including utility-scale wind and solar energy projects, transmission lines, big-box retail stores, office buildings, industrial facilities, auto dealerships, apartment buildings, hotels and short-term rental properties. My clients tell me they value my direct, efficient and no-nonsense advice, and that I am always quick to respond and good at keeping the bigger picture in mind at all times.
