ABOUT DAVID PESIRI
David Pesiri is the Transition Manager for the M&O Contract at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Prior to this role he was the Division Leader of the Richard P. Feynman Center for Innovation at Los Alamos where he focused on forming strategic partnerships, promoting collaborations to enhance innovation and developing technologies for technology spinouts. He was also responsible for leading agreement, partnership and commercialization negotiations on behalf of Los Alamos including CRADAs (Cooperative Research and Development Agreements), license agreement and equity deals. Prior to his commercialization role at Los Alamos, David was the co-founder of SDC Materials in Tempe, AZ. David also served as Managing Partner of the Essex Technology Group, LLC, a leading nanotechnology consulting firm in Aliso Viejo, CA. In addition to founding or co-founding several successful technology startup companies, David was a Senior Scientist at Technanogy, LLC where he focused on nanomaterials manufacturing and application development as well as nanopowder dispersion technology. He also served as a principle at Technanogy Materials Development, a product-based nanomaterials producer in Santa Ana, CA. Prior to his entrepreneurial career David was a technical staff member at Los Alamos National Laboratory where he focused on nanomaterials, catalysis and separations. He is now focused on commercializing technologies at Los Alamos and leads the Laboratory\'s portfolios in Nanotechnology, Nuclear and Materials Science.
