Oversee Accounting department of 6 legal entities consisting of 1 Holding Company, 18 franchises, and 4 controllers & staff while working with CPA firm to adhere to GAAP while minimizing tax liabilities.• Oversee the group’s cash flow on a daily basis and assist the dealer and VP’s with cash flow management. Review bank reconciliations for 7 accounts and a master sweep account. • Review and oversee the cash flow and construction projects for our real estate entity.• Oversees and directs treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing and insurance activities for the dealership group• Maintains relationships & negotiate terms with financial institutions on matters of Letters of Credit for our Captive Insurance Company, Floorplan Lenders, and Real Estate transactions.• In process of consolidating over vendors to maximize our group buying power. Renegotiating existing contracts with remaining vendors to reduce expenses.• Assist the VP’s in preparing quarterly and annual financial projections and budgets for each retail facility. Review with owner, VP, and GM on a quarterly basis YOY and budget to actual quarterly reports.• Perform and review audits of deal jackets to maintain compliance with company pricing policy, FTC regulation, and the CFPB. • Perform pricing policy reviews of all ancillary products determining that it is compliant with our pricing policy.
