This included plant Quality Manager skill development activities to become established leaders. Due to 10%+ business growth on $250 million+ of Sales, and the lack of Quality Systems, asked to focus on External Contract Manufacturing exclusively. Result: Reduced parts per million defective (PPM) by 67%, reduced customer Quality credits by over $3 million, reduced customer Quality incidents by over implemented a change management system, implemented a corrective and preventive action (CAPA) system. Result: Established processes and coached External Contract Manufacturer Quality Managers in Quality Systems including metrics that showed an improvement in PPM defective by 50%. Propagated the processes to other external businesses.
