About David Strom

As the Director of Loss Prevention and Operations Support at McCoy Corporation, I oversee the development and implementation of loss prevention and security programs across 88 stores, two millwork facilities, and three distribution centers in 3 states. I also provide operational support and guidance to those I serve in the areas of merchandising, logistics, safety, risk management, customer service, and more. Utilizing my LPC and CFI credentials, I lead a team of 9 loss prevention professionals and conduct internal investigations, assessments, and training.I have more than 35 years of experience in the retail industry, starting as a front line employee, then serving as a store manager and advancing to regional manager and director roles at McCoy Corporation. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated my skills in sales and business development, human resources, people development, relational leadership, budgeting, and strategic account management. I am passionate about delivering exceptional results, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of creativity, integrity, innovation, and accountability.
