Head of Internal Audit for the organisation delivering the UK\'s largest scale and most complex restoration and renewal programme for the Houses of Parliament.I joined the organisation when it was still in its infancy, which gave me the opportunityto develop an audit service from scratch.I built a team, procured and on-boarded a co-sourced audit support partner, developed audit methodology, created - and delivered - an audit plan and designed a suite of outputs. I have worked alongside other assurance partners, the Risk, Assurance & Audit Committee, the Executive Team, the client team and Parliamentary colleagues to ensure the right assurance is provided at the right time, minimising the risk of duplication and assurance gaps
