ABOUT DAVID PARKES

As a freelance writer with a BA in Music Cognition from McMaster University, I combine my passion for football and my skills in web content creation to produce engaging and informative articles and interviews for various platforms. I have covered domestic and continental action from North America and Europe, with a focus on UEFA\'s coefficients system, which determines the allocation of spots and seeding for the club competitions. In the past year and a half, I have built a loyal following of fans on Twitter, where I share my insights and analyses on the latest developments and trends in the football world. I have also achieved several milestones, such as obtaining an exclusive screenshot of the Access List for the UEFA club competitions from 2024, which I had for five months before it was leaked publicly. I have also been invited to share my expertise on podcasts and radio shows, where I demonstrated my knowledge and enthusiasm for the game. My goal is to become a full-time football journalist, where I can provide more value and insight to fans all over the world.
