I serve as President of San Miguel School in Washington, DC — a Lasallian, tuition-free Catholic middle school serving young men from low-income, primarily first-generation families.My leadership philosophy centers on pairing high expectations with deep relational support—using data, evidence-based practice, and strong community partnerships to expand opportunity and ensure long-term outcomes for students.I joined San Miguel in 2007 as a teacher, later served as Principal, and now lead the school as President. Over the past two decades, our team has strengthened a model built on rigorous academics, extended learning time, and long-term graduate support.We believe talent is universal. Opportunity is not. Our work focuses on closing that gap through high expectations, deep relational support, and data-driven execution.I hold an Ed.D. in Interdisciplinary Leadership and remain grounded in the Lasallian tradition that shaped my own education as a graduate of St. John’s College High School.I’m always interested in connecting with leaders, philanthropists, and partners who believe education can change long-term economic trajectories.
