ABOUT DAVID P.
As a social worker, I have served in various capacities for almost 20 years. Through attending the University of Montevallo and the University of Alabama, I obtained an excellent education in what a social worker should be for their community and was honored with various scholarships and membership in multiple honor societies. I have obtained licensure as both an independent clinical social work supervisor and private independent practitioner and have served in the fields of child protective services, home health and hospice, mental health, and in an administrative capacity, specifically, in the fields of quality assurance and resource development. I have also had the opportunity to serve in leadership through volunteer community service organizations and was selected to participate in a local community leadership program that assisted in giving me insight into what true leadership should be. I look forward to continuing to be a servant leader and to continue to grow in understanding of how I can best assist those within my community.
