Supply legal advice and counsel to internal clients to develop and implement payment solutions systems for public sector contracts. Collaborate with business teams and across Legal, Risk and Compliance to address and resolve complex issues involving unauthorized payment transactions and fraud disputes. Advise clients on relevant legal, regulatory, and market development in payment systems and related litigation. Research and respond to attorney demand letters. Partner with outside counsel to manage portfolio of EFTA/Regulation E and UDAAP single Plaintiff and class-action matters in litigation. Develop programs and policies to reduce exposure to EFTA claims. Assist with developing, presenting, and training employees on litigation and compliance matters. Regularly interface with outside counsel to support discovery and investigations. Conduct interviews, draft affidavits, and assist with preparation of correspondence of documents and reports. Analyze and resolve complex legal matters and recommend changes to organizational policies and procedures. Develop and implement solutions to eliminate, manage and mitigate risk to the company.
