As PCL Edmonton\'s Sustainable Construction Advisor, I provide oversight and guidance to clients, to the community, and to my PCL team, on how to construct facilities that are both economical and efficient in their energy use, are inviting for their occupants and customers, and are prepared for the future - all to reduce the impact to the environment while reducing operating costs. Internally, I guide the research, development, and implementation of construction practices to reduce PCL\'s energy consumption, to reduce the upfront cost and environmental impact of construction, and to influence the construction community at large.
