ABOUT DAVID NORMAN

20 years in Digital, split between Product design and Web Development. I\'m a proven high performer, and have worked on large scale digital transformations in the Insurance space. I am UX certified through NNG having completed courses in Interaction Design, Service Blueprinting and Omnichannel experiences. I was the lead designer working with a top agency in redesigning our insurance Quote and Buy journey, supporting with the research and discovery phase through to building out our design system and complex user journeys to ensure we met our regulatory requirements while keeping our customers at the heart of every design decision. Following on from the successful Quote and Buy redesign project, I undertook a digital Claims journey redesign. Focusing on the design, and research phases to build a data driven, industry leading digital claims journey in under 18 months. From the metrics captured after it was launched, we were seeing an above average response rate to our on site surveys, and an experience rating our 4.5/5 from our customers. I love to test myself outside of my day to day role, and over the years I have been fortunate to work on some truly varied and creative projects. This includes an eCommerce sports supplement subscription website, a product website for a house that can produce net more energy than it consumes and a published art book for a Portuguese artist to showcase their work.
