Supported customer integration of TDK InvenSense inertial motion units (consumer, automotive, industrial), barometric pressure sensors, microphones, and ultrasonic time-of-flight sensors into customer products from hardware standpoint with design reviews of schematics, layouts, board bring-up, and on-site customer support. Territories included North and South America, Europe, Southeast Asia, India, and Australia/New Zealand. • Managed consumer IMU and barometric pressure sensor programs for TDK’s largest customers. Drove weekly meetings, worked with product engineering, reliability, packaging, MEMS, and ASIC teams to prepare and deliver char/qual reports, organized customer audit of manufacturing vendors, and ensured completion of program to meet customer build schedule. • Used knowledge of targeted applications and systems to recommend application solutions, design ideas, and products to the customer design team. Studied competitor products and solutions to compare/contrast with TDK InvenSense products and recommend best TDK solutions. • Collaborated with sales directors, marketing teams, and application engineers to develop value propositions to promote relevant application strategies and support customer design-ins. • Provided hardware support for failure returns from the field and worked closely with internal FA teams to drive these FAs to close. • Created application notes documenting proper PCB design guidelines of TDK InvenSense MEMS IMUs and barometric pressure sensors, proper MEMS handling in production, and use of special features of TDK InvenSense products. • Trained regional sales representatives and distributors on TDK InvenSense IMUs and barometric pressure sensors.
