About David Neuville
I am a senior New York lawyer with over 35 years of experience in corporate and finance transactional, regulatory and advisory work (including, among other things, a strong U.S. securities background). In my career, I have been a partner in several major international law firms and have, living and working initially in New York and then Hong Kong, handled matters in the United States, Asia, Europe and Australia. I have represented public and private corporate clients as well as financial services providers. Currently, I am a member of the board of directors of a start-up company, Care Continuum Inc, in the business of acquiring, consolidating and operating medical practices in the U.S. and the Caribbean. I enjoy this work, and would be very interested in taking on another directorship with an established company. In recent years, I have advised clients, including board members, senior management, and investment bankers, on a range of corporate and securities matters including compliance with U.S. laws, contractual issues, corporate governance issues, public disclosures and commercial decisionmaking. As part of my evolving role, I counseled business executives and other professionals to drive strategic objectives, align disparate views of multiple parties, and anticipate and solve legal/business issues. Throughout my career, I have led legal teams in matters involving substantive areas including mergers and acquisitions (public and private companies), private equity, equity and debt capital markets (IPOs, secondary offerings, high yield and investment grade bond offerings and offerings of convertible securities), commercial contracts, employment agreements and U.S. securities compliance. I have worked with companies across the United States, in the United Kingdom and Australia, and in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Mongolia, the Philippines, South Korea and other Asian locales. I have written in the International Financial Law Review, in Simmons & Simmons’ elexica and elsewhere on subjects including weighted voting rights in Hong Kong, issues relating to auditor comfort letters and a variety of other topics.(Articles attached below.) I have been listed as a leading U.S. law equity and debt capital markets lawyer in Hong Kong on multiple occasions in the Chambers Global Guide to the World\'s Leading Lawyers, Chambers Asia, the Asia Pacific Legal 500, IFLR Euromoney\'s Expert Guides and Who’s Who Legal: Capital Markets.
