Key responsibilities-Responsible for all aspects of commercial and compliance across APAC and EMEA region as a senior member of the International team-Partnering closely with the business on the drafting and negotiation of contracts for cloud services, licensing, professional services, and related offerings matters across a wide range of cultures and with customers in both the private and public sectors-Including negotiation of AI solutions across the globe-Drafting and negotiation of local and global partnership agreements across the partner ecosystem for APAC and EMEA for a range partner activities-Review and modification of standard terms to simplify go-to-market activities and dela velocity across the portfolio, based on best practices, market standards, emerging regulations, and customer feedback-Review and advise on data privacy and emerging/new compliance matters (e.g. DORA, NIST2, EU AI Act) across EMEA and APAC, as well as negotiating agreements covering the same-Partnering closely with all relevant stakeholders across the business to look for ways to improve and streamline legal engagement, including building strong relationships between the legal and sales teams-Engaged with senior leaders, including directly with C-level executives, on multiple matters, including providing advice and guidance on ways forward-Indirect responsibility for onboarding, training, and up-skilling junior and new members of the team in diverse geographic regions, as well as serving as an escalation point-Partnered with all relevant areas of the business (e.g. finance, security, trust, operations, senior management, commercial teams, etc.) to facilitate review of complex agreements and find ways forward-Independently managed and negotiated several of the largest deals in International with difficult and highly regulated customers
