   Responsible for overall day to day management of the technical and administrative aspects of the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center (PSC).• Assist the Center Director and Group Directors to set PSC’s direction, obtaining funding to support PSC’s activities.• Interface with both Carnegie Mellon University and University of Pittsburgh on administrative matters (e.g. intellectual property, space, funding, human resources).• Interface with NSF on administrative matters such as negotiating and assuring compliance with cooperative agreements, and representing PSC regionally and nationally on relevant issues. • Provide input to, and work with, the Center Directors on planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting and budgeting for the center as a whole.• Provide leadership, and maintain group morale and sense of mission, for the staff as a whole.
