It is a honor and my very personal pleasure to work with the Landesmusikrat Berlin to help to contribute to maintain the music and culture in Berlin. This cooperation arises from the need to find rehearsal rooms for berlin based amateur musicians during the current corona pandemic. Everyone is asked now! Everyone can help. Let\'s save the music in Berlin together! The State Music Council and the Berlin Choir Association, receive daily calls asking for help from ensembles that are currently not allowed to use their own rehearsal rooms. Many of the spaces are too small now for the large ensembles due to the minimum distances to be kept in order to comply with the Covid-regulations. Outdoor rehearsals will no longer be possible (for a long time) due to the falling temperatures. More than Berliners belong to amateur choirs and orchestras and they urgently need support in finding a space. Do you have a venue to offer? Do you know potential spaces? Report your ideas - including unconventional ones - to us!
