ABOUT DAVID MIRAMONTES-QUIÑONES
Education changes lives when we design institutions that are clear, caring, and equity centered. I serve as Vice President of Student Services and Equity at American River College, where I lead work that strengthens student support systems and expands opportunity.I focus on building student centered services that are accessible, trauma informed, and outcomes driven. That includes improving pathways from entry to completion, removing barriers in policy and practice, and partnering across campus to create a culture of belonging and high expectations. My leadership is rooted in educational justice and the belief that every student deserves to be seen, supported, and equipped to reach their goals. I am especially committed to improving outcomes for students who have been historically underserved, including Black, Latinx, and Native students, undocumented students, LGBTQ+ students, and students with disabilities.Let’s connect and build institutions where every student can thrive.
