   WINDSTREAM COMMUNICATIONS/NUVOX NETWORK Re-IP ENGINEERING INTEGRATION PROJECT for over network devices 10-2013-Present Transport Engineer/Technical Coordinator confirming network connectivity and applying the newly assigned subnet mask, gateway, and IP addresses via remote telnet and execution server commands. Performed remote telnet, network pings, and trace routes to the newly assigned device to confirm a successful conversion by eliminating overlapping IP addresses. Coordinated troubleshooting efforts to identify/repair devices that were unreachable or required hardware repairs by onsite field engineers and technicians. Maintained an almost flawless integration rate. Utilized Remedy and Clarify trouble reporting utilities to schedule and repair unreachable Transport devices by Windstream field support technicians. Informed senior management of successful Re-IP’s via Change Control Management Procedures. Updated Online Citrix-Xen databases utilizing both Metasolv and Netcool network monitoring applications. Re-IP’ed Transport network devices consisting of Adtran 2800 3/1, DS-3 muxes, Overture 5100, 4500, Hatteras 404, CAC-Widebanks, Nortel 6500 switches, and OC-3 to OC-48 Fiber backbone Transport devices. Our team of three Transport Engineers were responsible for over devices integrated to the Windstream IT network at nearly a 100% successful conversion rate. Our team reports to the Director of Network Operations and the overall Re-IP Project Sponsor. Currently, we are preparing for another Windstream purchased company, PAETEC, to Re-IP their network.
