I’m a board-certified internist, clinical informatics, and Lifestyle Medicine physician with over 30 years of experience at the intersection of clinical care, technology, and prevention. My passion lies in transforming healthcare systems by integrating informatics, AI, and evidence-based lifestyle interventions to improve outcomes—especially for chronic disease.At ECU Health, I serve as Associate Chief Medical Information Officer and Medical Director of the Lifestyle Medicine Clinic. I was honored to be the system’s first Chief Medical Informatics Officer, leading the implementation of Epic and driving digital health innovation across the enterprise.I’ve collaborated nationally with the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and Epic to standardize documentation and workflows that support whole-person care. My work bridges clinical practice, informatics, and population health—with a focus on empowering both patients and providers through smarter systems and meaningful data.I’m always open to connecting with others who are passionate about reimagining healthcare—whether through technology, prevention, or new models of care.
