He was previously based in Greater China and Silicon Valley, having led BCG\'s Greater China business, and having served life sciences and technology clients globally.He serves on the International Advisory Board of UC San Diego\'s School of Global Policy and Strategy, where he also teaches Asian business and entrepreneurship.Mr. Michael also founded and led BCG\'s Global Advantage Practice, focusing on how companies adapt to rapid global changes. He has served on the firm\'s Asia-Pacific management team, its global marketing committee, and its global compensation committee.Mr. Michael is co-author of 6 articles in the Harvard Business Review and two books.Mr. Michael has a BA from Harvard in Economics, and an MBA from Stanford, where he received the Ernest W.
