I oversee the wine program for all Food & Beverage outlets at The Jefferson located in our nation\'s capital of Washington, DC. This includes: In-Room Dining, Banquet Events, Quill Bar & Lounge, as well as our premier restaurant Plume which has been awarded a Michelin Star and enjoys the distinction of being the only Forbes Five-Star rated restaurant found within the District of Columbia. We feature a diverse by-the-glass selection as well as bottle list that showcases over 1,200 different labels representing wines from all over the world, in various formats, spanning over 50 vintages, with a strong emphasis on French, American, and Italian producers. Continuing in the same vein and vision as our namesake, we are proud to offer a wide scope of Madeira dating all the way back to the year 1720, a specific bottling that President Jefferson most likely enjoyed himself. Private events can be held in our \"Wine Cellar,\" a room that beautifully displays an anthology of our premier wine selections for all to view while dining in luxurious Victorian style.
