Head hunted by Bloomberg to deliver the security strategy for the new Bloomberg European Headquarters, two primary buildings divided by a pedestrianized dining arcade provide approximately 1.1m sq ft of office and retail space, housing approx. staff. The buildings are linked by bridges and sit on top of the site of the London Mithraeum. The building also contains the Bloomberg Space, which displays artworks. This is an iconic building that in 2018, was awarded prestigious RIBA Stirling Prize for architecture. As such, attracting key events, prominent individuals and businesses in addition to the standard high volume footfall in the City moving in and around its open campus.I am responsible for the EMEA Regional Offices,(Dublin, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam) My remit includes two other London sites, including a DR Centre; I am responsible for a security team of 150 personnel, including a K9 team and a dedicated police officer based at Bloomberg HQ, a unique agreement with the City of London Police.I report to the Regional EMEA Security Director.I am responsible for an operational security budget of £8 million pounds. I have excellent working relationships with the Senior Police Officers in The City of London, MPS and other police forces around the UK.I have excellent working relationships with other government agencies.
