Key Achievements:• Co-founded the Global Training Initiative (GTI) at NC State University (NCSU).• Built GTI from $0 to more than $2 million in annual revenues with only $50K in investment by NCSU resulting in a local economic impact of $100 million after 18 years.• Built GTI from 1.5 employees to 12 full-time and 30+ part-time employees.• Co-led team to create VR and AI tools for training professionals in global skills competency.• Taught courses on Entrepreneurial Thinking (EI 201) and Global Entrepreneurship (EI 331).• Developed and taught course on US Culture and Higher Education (GTI 401; taught 600+ students over 18 years).• Developed marketing, global business plan, and maintained hundreds of contracts with partner institutions and businesses worldwide, promoting NCSU programs, resulting in 300+ training programs and participants.• Identified, applied for, and secured sources of income (e.g, grants, contracts, tuition/fees, etc,) resulting in consistent economic viability of GTI.• Directed admissions for NCSU’s GTI certificate programs, resulting in 400 students participating over 12 years.• Developed partnerships with faculty and staff in all 10 colleges at NCSU.
